About us

Little did we realise when we first discovered St Rémy de Provence and fell in love with it that one day we would make it our home.

In this wonderful part of Provence we bought our 19th century farmhouse in 2003 and have taken great care over its restoration.

In the pretty walled garden you can cool off in the pool which is surrounded by sun-bleached decking, or relax under the shady vine covered tonnelle.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Mas des Tourterelles.

Location

St Rémy-de-Provence is the gateway to the Alpilles and  a short walk from the Mas des Tourterelles.  The town evokes the very essence of  Provence with boulevards shaded by plane trees, fountains splashing in the many hidden squares inside the old town and the weekly market which spreads down the little streets. Watch the world go by from a pavement café or savour Provençal cuisine at one of the many  delightful restaurants.

Things to do

Explore the Camargue on horseback
Cycle along the chemins around St Remy or further afield or walk the myriad of paths in Les Alpilles.
Drive to the
Mediterranean which is less than an hour away. The long and deserted beaches of the Camargue and the busy seaside towns such as Stes Maries de la Mer or the little fishing villages along the Côte Bleue are well worth a visit.
